- Cloud architecture & platform decisions β helping teams choose and evolve scalable cloud systems (primarily AWS, with prior GCP experience), balancing cost, reliability, and long-term flexibility
- Infrastructure strategy & Infrastructure as Code β designing repeatable, auditable infrastructure setups using Terraform and CloudFormation, with an emphasis on sustainability and governance

- Application & internal tooling β building pragmatic interfaces and internal tools (Bubble.io, Retool) where they reduce complexity rather than introduce it
- Automation & process design β identifying and eliminating manual workflows through system design, automation, and integration across tools
- Scientific & high-performance computing β supporting numerical pipelines and distributed workloads where modeling, performance, and correctness matter
Decision Support & Technical Leadership
Not all technology challenges are execution problems. At certain points, the biggest risk is making the wrong decision β not building the wrong thing.
Alongside hands-on consulting, I support founders and leadership teams in clarifying technical trade-offs, assessing architecture and platform risk, and navigating inflection points where technology choices have long-term consequences. This is most relevant during growth transitions, platform rewrites, funding events, or moments where technical choices are hard to reverse.
